Fun flower fact: Traditions of giving floral arrangements and bouquets to convey our emotions goes back to the middle ages. It is believed that the tradition of giving a meaning to each type of flower was started in Europe and still exists today. Irises: symbolize faith, hope, wisdom, courage, and admiration.
Easter Lily and Lily of the Valley: represents love and hope, traditionally given on Easter with meaning of celebration of rebirth. Fun flower fact: was not until flower shops in Philadelphia sold them did they begin being called Easter Lilies
Daisies: innocence, purity and new beginnings. Often given to new mother's to congratulate them.
Tulips: generally mean perfect love other colors have other meanings too. White means forgiveness, red means true love, and purple symbolizes royalty
Baby's Breath- symbolizes everlasting love, pureness, and innocence
